I turn my volume all of the way up, lean back, and close my eyes. I mean, this man honestly has my full attention with whatever he releases.
Travi$ Scott has sent me on a frill of thoughts, for some reason the man’s music is almost perfect to me and I can never stop listening to it. Travis Scott is a true inspiration for a lot of things, one of them being his relation with music and fashion. However his music really delves into a deep place, a place that I go to every time I listen to his music. He’s able to bring me along for his musical rollercoaster and I just can’t seem to get off. Anytime I want to try and listen to some hardcore, deep, underground rap, I find myself making my way back to La Flame.
I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it for as long as I live— to be a successful musician one must not be afraid of changes. Especially with rap, one can’t just put out the same content and expect the same results for ten years. Travis Scott is evolving incredibly fast, and La Flame knows that he owns the spotlight.
Rodeo, at first, wasn’t one of my favorite albums, but after a few listens I really started to slip into a musical coma. Listen after listen I was just hooked, and no matter how hard I tried, I just could not escape his music. I think that’s why I’ve grown to truly enjoy his work, and really appreciate what he's done for the ever growing rap industry.
La Flame is more than just another rapper to me, he’s a sophisticated individual that puts out sophisticated, yet amazing music. So if for some reason you’ve never listened to the man himself, give Travi$ Scott a listen.
